Randy F. Sturm bought a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 4551 Treeview Terrace in Cherry Valley from George E. Peacock and Dianna L. Peacock for $122,000 on March 27.

The 1,272-square-foot home was built in 1976.

Sturm is the township supervisor for the Village of Cherry Valley. Previously, he served on the board of Rock Valley College and was president of the Cherry Valley Fire District. He also served on the Winnebago County board and the Rockford School board.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 93 home sales in Cherry Valley during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $106,500.
